I am going to try to post more of my recipes.

This time, the great favorite: pasta with meat sauce. A great success, even among the calorie-counting him and the perpetually allergic me.

2 cups of pasta (I like brown rice pasta or the stuff with flax seed from Trader Joe's)
1/2 lb of ground turkey
4-5 mushrooms (I like cremini)
1/2 can diced tomatoes (or fresh, whatever)
howevermuch garlic and onion you like
Worcestershire sauce
Red wine, to taste
tomato paste
basil, parsley
half a small package of low-fat feta
other cheese, whatever kind and as much as you like

Boil water, make pasta al dente. Don't be those people who add oil to the pasta water. Meanwhile, saute the onions and garlic a bit, add the ground turkey, add mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce and wine. Throw in the tomatoes and the paste, the green things, and let cook for a bit. Don't forget to check on the pasta. Crumble the feta and add. Cook for another few minutes until saucy. Combine pasta and sauce, add some cheese if you want. Serve with a bit of Parmesan on top.
